The New Outer Limits s1 & s2----->May,4,2010

According to tvshowsondvd.com , the first two seasons will be released in Canada on May 4th. Cool. I was waiting for season sets. MGM will never release these so thanks Canada.

I'm pretty sure the first season was released but that was it. I wonder if they are going to carry through w/ the rest of the series?

I bought the first season for like $11-$13 from one of deepdiscount's sales. I've never opened it.

I have those original series collections (Time Travel, etc.). Couple of good shows. I'd be a little concerned about whole series. I'd love to see a review.

Like any anthology show there were some good ones and some bad ones. I do like how the wrapped the series up though, which is unusual for a show of that type. Overall if you are into Sci-Fi though it's a series worth watching if not owning. Netflix used to have all of them available via "Watch Now" but it seems they don't anymore. Hopefully if it is coming back they'll add them again.

The coolest thing about that show were the various clip-shows/episodes that tied together this thread of aliens trying to take over the government.

I bought a Canadian release collection of S1/S2 episodes (I think it was 10 eps from each season) that was released maybe 5 years ago. So I'll probably skip these S1 and S2 releases.

A June 1st S3 release has been announced:

These are the Canadian edits of the episodes, as that's all that Alliance Home Entertainment owns.
So these are censored? Pass.

Yeah, I was going to ask the same question. The previous Canadian releases were edited. If that's the case (again), I can wait.

It's been years since MGM released the complete first season, so it would appear that they don't have any interest in doing more releases of New Outer Limits.

I think they poisoned the well on this series by releasing two waves of compilation discs, then releasing the first season.

Maybe they'll go DVD-R or license it out to Shout Factory.

All of the episodes are currently available on Hulu (for now).
