Say what? A horrible debut but ....welcome to our forum and feel free to use the English language.

He's referring to a film from the 80's and if/when it might be released on DVD and how he might find that out.

It could be worded a little more clearly but it's not THAT confusing. You guys are just doing the 'new member gauntlet' thing.

'Mother Load'.

Heston plays an older miner who falls in with two younger people - Mancuso and Basinger, looking for a strike: the mother load. Some things are not what they appear to be, and it's a study on greed and its affect on people. I've seen the movie two or three times. It's not bad actually, worth seeing.

As to when it's coming out on DVD, I have no idea. The Amazon.com page for the VHS release has several people asking about the DVD release.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find a lot of useful information here.

Although this isn't an English class and we aren't all that anal about language, as you can tell from the posts in this thread it is appreciated if you at least try to use some sort of capitalization and punctuation so people can more easily figure out what you're trying to ask.

It's also appreciated if you use a question mark in your thread title if you're asking a question. That way, people won't get upset when they click into a thread that they think is announcing the release of a movie they're excited about only to find out it's someone asking when the movie is going to be released.

Anyway, don't let the mild hazing you're getting in this thread get to you. We really are a decent bunch.

And do a search before they start a new thread!

Mod note: Couldn't have said it much better myself...

Again welcome delder101  I went ahead and changed the thread title to help clear things up a bit. As mentioned bear w/ some of the new user hazing and we're really not a bad bunch ;) We do try to keep it to a minimum but it is inevitable.

As far as your question goes I haven't even heard of the movie, much less when it may be coming to DVD :(

I've only seen it once, years ago, and I don't remember a whole lot about it. It's probably most famous for having a real plane crash in it. They were filming a small, single-engine floatplane landing on a lake. One of the floats caught the water wrong and the plane flipped over quite violently. The pilot wasn't hurt, so they used the footage in the movie.

I would like to see the movie again, but it's obscure enough at this point that you have to wonder if it'll ever be released.

I found the crash sequence on YouTube:
