DVD Talk Forum - Stripped-down Face/Off Special Edition?

I was at a Big Lots today, and I spotted a copy of the Face/Off 2-Disc Special Collector's Edition. Before I went to check out, I noticed it had dents in the back cover, so I went back to see if there was an undented one. Much to my surprise, the other copies of Face/Off, while they had the silver border on the front and terrible fake "explosion" picture on the back, as well as the new commentaries, they were only one disc! If you go to Big Lots and see this DVD and want both discs of the 2-disc set, don't let Paramount pull a fast one on you.

I bought the dented one, and although the case was light, it did have both discs, so I'm happy. Still, I thought this was bizarre. I mean, I guess it has happened before (Universal's Casino, Scarface, and Monty Python and the Meaning of Life come to mind, for example), but it's still...odd.
