Original Walking Tall OOP?

A friend, knowing I am a movie buff, called and wants two DVD copies of Joe Don Baker in "Walking Tall."

I checked on-line at Deep Discount, Best Buy and even Walmart. No one lists it.

It is not available anymore?

The original trilogy, and the separate releases, are out of print and go for obscene amounts. I almost bought it for like $20 several times, but always thought I'd find it cheaper someday.

It's interesting. There is a thread that is updated every Sunday here on which dvds are going out of print. Walking Tall was on it about 6 weeks ago.

During those six weeks, Amazon was selling about 2-3 copies a day of it.

In the 24 hours since this thread appeared, they sold out their entire stock of about 60 copies.

I guess nobody reads Mccarver's thread.
