Get your questions ready. According to tvshowsondvd.com the chat will be held in early April (5pm-8pm Pacific time). The only tv series(besides Batman 60s live action) that interests me would be Alice. They released a few episodes on a disc but besides that,nothing else. They will probably avoid questions about Batman(Adam West) even though Paramount worked with Newline Cinema on the Friday the 13th remake(how'd they do that-thought Paramount dis-owned Jason Vorhees). Animation is a whole different story. First things first--Where's Popeye? Besides that what about full season sets for The Herculoids,Fantastic 4(1967)-who cares about rights issues,Batman (animated 60s),Superman(animated 60s-I think there are still unreleased episodes out there) and Superboy(animated 60s). Are they going to release all the Superfriends episodes? Also what about Wally Gator and Quick Draw McGraw?

Thanks for the head's up! I'd like to know if they will release Taz-Mania on dvd so I'll probably pop in.

Question: Any idea when Animaniacs Set #4 will be released onto DVD to complete the series?? (perhaps they couldn't secure the rights to the Macarena song?!)

I'd like Flintstone Kids, I just saw they are releasing a set for Saturday Morning Cartoons 1980s and Flintstone Kids will be on there but I want the whole series or a season or something more! A Pup Named Scooby Doo sold well apparently so we need Flintstone Kids!

I also want 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo! Come on! that could be released as 1, 2-disc set!

An episode of "Thundarr The Barbarian" plus a special feature on Thundarr are included on this compilation DVD. Hopefully, that would lead to the eventual release of the complete series ....soon.

I can almost guarantee you that those series will be the LAST of the Scooby-Doo series to be released on DVD if they ever make it to DVD just because of how much hatred there is towards Scrappy-Doo.

I'd love these 3 too, I'm a little doubtful on Hollyrock-a-Bye Baby though since that wasn't even ever released on VHS in the US, though I think having that and I Yabba-Dabba-Do as a double feature would make complete sense to me!

Hear hear on the rest of the DC Animated cartoons.

But aren't the only Superfriends left to released the 2nd half of the Wendy/Marvin season? If so, I would think they will release those since they did the first set.

Two things:
1. Paramount has nothing to do with the 60's Batman TV series....that would be 20th Century Fox....
2. While Paramount did sell the rights to the Jason character to New Line, they still retained the trademark on the title "Friday The 13th"....which is why New Line/Warner needed their involvement to use that specific name for the 2009 remake/reimagining.....

Was Scrappy-Doo really hated that much? That was in the pre-internet days, and I don't remember anyone hating him. I was just annoyed how EVERY damn Scooby-Doo episode always ended the SAME way- out of hundreds of episodes there were maybe 2 that didn't end with the monster/ghost/whatever being a guy in a costume who would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

I would buy the Pac-Man cartoons, I'd even pay full price for it (probably), but not if it's on DVD-R.

I'm suggesting a new live-action/traditional animated direct-to-DVD sequel to the 1996 box-office epic, Space Jam starring only the Hanna-Barbera characters (Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear, Barney Rubble, Boo Boo, Scooby-Doo, George Jetson, Shaggy Rogers, Astro, Tom & Jerry, Quick Draw McGraw, Huckleberry Hound, Baba Looey, Top Cat, Augie Doggie & Doggie Daddy, Magilla Gorilla, Snooper & Blabber and Snagglepuss) with another new NBA basketball star.

I was using Paramount as an example of someone working with another company. I knew that Fox owned the video rights to Batman(60s).
