Top Cat: The Complete Collection question
 

Hey,
I just picked up this set the other day which contains the whole series, hard to believe only 30 episodes were made :)
Anyway, I was just checking it out, at the start of "The Late TC" before the theme song actually starts, there's a little scene that introduces the episode (Dibble says "I'm going to make sure TC has a nice day... even if it kills me!") Did the shows originally play like that in the US on TV, as I don't remember seeing that in the UK :)
They also seemed to have canned laughter too, a bit like some Pink Panther cartoons.

Then again, the series was once known as "Boss Cat" in the UK for some reason, and I've only ever seen the Top Cat credits... oh well :D

Most if not all had cold openings (a little of the ep before intro) and I remember the laughing in some episodes as well.
