Will Universal release a complete A-Team Series DVD box set in the US?
Was this ever released with special packaging or will they wait until the movie is released before releasing a complete series box set?

I really hope they do, I saw the UK packaging, it looked massive.

I bet they will this summer when the movie drops, like they did with Hulk and Miami Vice.

That's what I'm counting on. I've sold my other problem 2 sided sets so I could get the new one if/when it comes out and they will hopefully be one sided discs like Knight Rider & Miami Vice ones are. They released Miami Vice Seasons 1-2 as single sided discs? |

Considering that a bar/club near my house is having an 80's theme night tommorow night, that will feature the original A-Team van parked out front, maybe there is actually more interest in this than I thought.

I knew it!
The A-Team - I Love It When The Complete Series Comes Together: 'Premium Package' DVD Set 25-disc collection coming out on June 8th (the same week the film remake debuts) Posted by David Lambert 2/23/2010 With a mid-June theatrical debut of the remake film starting to loom large, Universal Studios Home Entertainment has today announced that The A-Team - The Complete Series is coming to DVD on June 8th. This 25-disc (all of them single-sided) collection crams all 5 seasons of the original action-packed show into one big set, available this way for the first time. Bonus material consists of the same extras seen on the individual season sets: a bonus Knight Rider episode titled "Brother's Keeper", the Featurette "The Great '80s TV Flashback", and the "Rumors of Soldiers of Fortune" Featurette". Video is full frame, audio is English mono, and English subtitles are included as well. A picture of the box art hasn't been released yet, so we don't know what that will look like. But the studio describes it as "premium packaging", so our imaginations are already starting to run away with us (maybe a box that looks like a black GMC Vandura van with a red stripe? Nah, we won't get our hopes up for that just yet!). Stay tuned and we'll let you know when we've got a picture of that packaging. For now, you just want to know how much all of this costs. How does $149.98 SRP grab you? |

I'm in for it when I can get it for around $75. That's what I got from FYE last year for my 5 2 sided sets.

Honestly, I prefer the look of the UK set. But I have no idea if I'd buy this to begin with.

Love it when a plan comes together!
I wonder if it will include movie cash for the remake? Since I totally plan on seeing it, that could soften the price. |

You want to see the remake ? Have you seen the pictures ? Do they really expect true 80s fans to believe Liam Neeson as Hannibal ?

DVD active confirmed the release date too
the new box set looks kind of cheesy with the artwork and it looks like it is made of paper. http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releas...te-series.html $104.99 preorder at Amazon |
Re: Will Universal release a complete A-Team Series DVD box set in the US?
I love inventive slipcovers, but that van just looks weird as all hell. Still, getting all the discs in single-sided versions is worthwhile. I wouldn't brag about the 'bonus' episode, however. Just let it lie.

Looks like the A-Team stole & repainted Doug Heffernan's truck.

Re: Will Universal release a complete A-Team Series DVD box set in the US?
I think its cool that eh complete series comes in a case shaped liek the van, but the actual product looks really chintzy. I may just continue buying the individual seasons.

Re: Will Universal release a complete A-Team Series DVD box set in the US?
Did anyone buy the set and do the seasons come packaged like the individual seasons inside the box?
The set costs around $89 but if you buy each season separately that would probably cost around $150 so Universal probably must have cut some corners with the low price for this box set. I hope the discs are not flippers. |

I hope the 5 single season individual keepcases have the original dvd cover artwork like the ones pictured on the top of this thread.

Here is a quick shot with some of my other box sets, for size comparison: http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/4905/img01595.jpg |

Do you have pictures of the single individual cases?
I wished they used the original artwork for each season like they did with the Miami Vice set. Dam. |
