Perhaps you were kidding. If you were not (all political correctness aside), you are being biased and judgmental. I understand by your own words, you are an old fart, and like most people like the movies and TV shows that they grew up with. I personally don't like westerns, but do like War movies, action and Science fiction -- but not all of them blankedly --- and would prefer most romantic comedies over westerns.. I've even seen the whole Sex and City series (but not the movie -- which I do own) and it was good, but, being a male, doesn't hold up that well.

The point is, you can give your opiniion w/o judging others b/c of their preferences. No father of mine would be that blind.
