Is it safe to say that Never Sleep Again won't be coming out in April?

Since we haven't really heard anything else on this, at least not that I know of.

The facebook page for the movie still says April. It's possible they meant they'd be taking it around to festivals and screening it starting in April, not that it would be on DVD in April.

I'm assuming it will probably be out when the remake comes out on DVD

I know the guys doing the doc; they're on a majorly tight deadline, but the plan is still to have it out at the end of April.

That's cool, but I just find it incredibly hard to believe it will be out in a month, if they're not even done yet. I know it's possible, but I think it's doubtful.

I'm hopeful though!

They're done shooting and they're editing like crazy. It'll be done, and it'll be awesome.

I'd be disappointed that it says only a "first look" of I Am Nancy is included rather than the full thing like I'd heard, but since the feature presentation is 240 minutes, I can't complain.

NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: THE ELM STREET LEGACY will be a multi-hour, multi-disc set that includes the definitive, comprehensive documentary feature, plus hours of bonus materials including extended interviews and much more. In addition, we're working on getting you a sneak peek of the exciting I AM NANCY documentary created by Heather Langenkamp. While we had hoped to include it on our bonus disc, this fascinating project has taken on a thrilling life of its own! We'll be sure to keep you posted on how you can get I AM NANCY when it releases.

4 hours?!? Yes! I'm so excited about this!

Will this be available at stores too or just through this site?

Paramount is (or was at least) waiting for the sequel to the remake before they start up again. Who knows if this is still the plan or not.

I had no idea this was coming out. Very cool. I dug the Jason doc last year as well as the Halloween one.

With all the work that went into it, it would be a shame if it wasn't. My guess is that it will be up for pre-order on amazon within the next week. I went ahead and pre-ordered it from the elmstreetlegacy site. $30 total, including the autographed poster seemed reasonable enough.

That's a gorgeous cover! Dare I say it's the best artwork I've seen for the franchise. Too bad they're not going Blu, but I'm glad to see this is so packed. I know they worked VERY hard on the entire thing, so fans will be really pleased.

I still have mine, I'm gonna have to rip the deleted scenes into my computer or something since I don't trust my VCRs anymore, most of them aren't even hooked up anymore.

EDIT: If I knew where it was... I swore in was in a box with all my other horror VHS but it isn't there.

Ha. I have the same problem. Maybe some troll is going house to house in the Chicagoland area steeling the 2-tape Nightmare On Elm Street.

I hope I didn't sell it. I don't know why I would have but I've done things like that before, where I sell something and completely forgot that I did that.

On another note, I decided to pre-order the Elm Street Legacy DVD. I figured why not? I sold some stuff on eBay and preordered it. I want that autographed poster!

Amazon has the "Never Sleep Again" documentary up for pre-order at $22.49. Not bad, I might pick this up.

It sounds fantastic! A 4 hour documentary about the NOES series. I preordered it from Elm Street Legacy.com and am getting an autographed poster. It was $7.50 more than Amazon, but whatever.

I just hope I get it relatively close to release date
