If you haven't already, pick up Season 4 right now. If sales don't pick up than we will not be getting Seasons 5 & 6 on DVD. It is not available in stores but you can buy it online.

You can purchase from Shout directly or buy from their official seller on Amazon or eBay.

If you don't have a credit card, purchase a Visa gift card at a store and use that to make your purchase.

I'd say the people that wanted the season would've already bought it, so it doesn't look good for the last 2 seasons.

I should want to buy Mr. Belvedere on DVD...
I shouldn't have to masturbate after every episode...

You would think Shout would do what's right for the people who enjoy this show to release it all, just like FOX finally did with MTM (S7 (Final One) comes out 10/5/2010), but it's the same ole cliche once again with any studio...it all depends on the sales...the less they have, the weaker the chances are of releasing the rest of the series. You would think Shout would be the excpetion but I guess not.

It would also help if Brian Ward and his staff there lower the price a bit on those sets and actually update their upcoming listings or issues posts as to when to expect the next season to come out as well to energize the fans to buy the previous sets too. This is just a suggestion at my end, that's all.

If they want us to buy copies of Mr. Belvedere Season 4, then Shout! should drop the price about $10 and sell the DVD's for $24.99 instead of $34.99! That would be a reasonable price and many, many more folks (including myself), would buy the DVD. Until then, no way.

I just want to be able to complete the set, that's all. I just hope SHOUT does the right thing here.

I agree. I wanted to buy mr. belvedere, but thought $30+ per season was way too high. Same thing for small wonder. I almost bit on small wonder s1 when it hit sub-$20 and mr belv. s1-2 has been on sale a few times, but these would end up being expensive collections to finish off.

I just don't want to see Shout abaondon this set either. It's just two more seasons to go but yes, they need to lower their prices on this at least ten bucks if they want to make a sale on them.

I ended up biting the bullet and purchased this from Shout! Since it's the only place I think you'll be able to purchase it, other than eBay or Amazon from other sellers.....I just really want the other seasons to make it to DVD.

Quack,

I agree with you 100%...I want Shout to finish this show as well as Rhoda Season 5 and Mad About You Seasons 6 & 7 and it wil all be good. They are the last hope of helping us collectors finish off these series WITHOUT dealing with the hassles of MOD/CreateSpace or any of that other garbage out there.

Not to be a jerk about it, but wouldn't it make more sense just to put out the entire run at $150-200 so the hardcore fans could get their fill? There isn't much of a life for a lot of sitcoms on DVD and not that streaming is picking up unreleased stuff and putting it out, why not just kick out the seasons in one set to avoid disappointment?

Re: Mr. Belvedere - Season 4 (exclusively on Shout! website) 01/19/10

As long as they do NOT release it via MOD/CreateSpace, I'm cool with waiting a bit. Hell, already invested in the first 4 seasons, so I'm OK with buying the last two separately but I just hope they release them as well as Rhoda and Mad About You this year and MAYBE Green Acres. We can hope.

Their website is all screwed up, so definitely if I could vote, I'd vote for Belvedere and Rhoda and Mad About You for sure for completion.

Is that a recent poll? If you click on the comments, they are from 2 years ago.

Saw on the Shout boards (despite all the bugs on that website and their forum section) that they ARE going to finish up Mad About You this year so that's a good thing. Just finish Rhoda and Belvedere and I'll be happy.
