I'll bet the back cover has a pic on it somewhere but at the same time no one's gonna pay attention to it so it'll blend in well.
But we'll see. Looking forward to seeing the movie.

Its probably not a movie you'll watch again and again. And its maybe a little short on zombies, but it has some great comedy bits. When your biggest compaint is 'damn it needs to be longer!' then I think thats a good sign.

Won't spoil it here, but that particular bit of news was fairly well known over the net before the movie even came out.

Netflix has Zombieland listed as a foregn film and unkown as the release date. I know it's coming out next Tuesday so i'm wondering if this is one of the movies they can't rent for the first 30 days?

And I'm going to be picking this one up from Redbox, $1. I saw it advertised as being available next Tuesday (I rented The Hurt Locker tonight).
Had a question - is this OK for grade-school age kids? It is rated R but the cover made it look like a comedy.

When I hear grade school, I'm thinking K-5. That's a no. I'd say any high school age kid would be okay to watch this though.

That deal was with Warner, Zombieland is being distributed by Sony in the US.

I went in around lunchtime and got the last exclusive disk off the rack. Not really much marketing here. Just a small standup display near the door. Kinda dissapointed there wasn't a steelbook for this one. Ah well, guess they can't all be Star Trek.
Whats really amuzing is the bonus disk has nice disk art. While the actual film is just a plane boring b&w text on a silver disk.
And of course its in one of those 'environmentally friendly' cases with the cutouts. So the damn case sags in the center.
The disk is already pretty packed, so I guess I'm not too upset.

Anyone else have trouble finding a Blu Nut Up edition? I had to go to call 5 different BBs...all of them said they only got 3 of them, and wouldn't be getting any more,a dn were sold out of both the Blu and SD editions. I lucked out and found one behind a stack of "Don't Mess with the Zohan", so I grabbed it, even though the bonus disc really isn't a dealbreaker. I had RZ certificates anyways...
The Blu looks pretty solid though, crisp in the few scenes I checked out quickly last nite.

Not a vast stock of "Nut Up or Shut Up" at my Best Buy, and quite a few with creases on the back cover (having been pressed too firmly against the cut-outs in the case), but found a good copy.
Saw none in Blu-ray. May have gotten just a few and sold out early. Not a big deal, as I was going for the DVD, but still sucks. Why not have a reasonable lot for release week, or even just release day, to give more customers a chance?
There's already a copy on eBay for $60, along with a few others for $25, give or take.
--THX

Re: Zombieland - February 2, 2010
I watched this last night and enjoyed it but was disappointed at the same time. It seems most of the good/funny parts were in all the trailers for the movie, and up until the end there really wasnt a LOT of zombie killing. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, was just expecting more i guess.

Re: Zombieland - February 2, 2010
As with a lot of movies I'd say it depends on the kid. My 11 year old niece watched this in theaters with me and thought it was hilarious and wasn't disturbed by the film at all. But at the same time I could see other 11 year old's being upset by several plot points and the gore.
