Re: October Horror Movie Challenge 5: The Results
I'd like to thank Chad too for taking the time to run this challenge. I'm sure it's a lot of work, but he makes it look easy.
Would the winners please send a PM to 2SwiFt29 with your address and tell him that you each won a copy of The Hanging Woman. He'll send it out to you.
John

Yay on placing 53rd! And I had the best percentage of FTV, a perfect 100%. *Pats self on back*
Advises everyone to steer clear of "Dead Birds" LOL, but so true. Stay away from that mess, please!
Thanks to Chad for putting all this together. I'm sure it was a ton of work, but do know that a lot of us appreciate what you do. I had a lot of fun and hope to do it again next year.

sweet! Chad, awesome work. one correction though. 34/35 of mines were FTV so the percentage should be changed. the only previously seen movie was Saw and you can see why.

Cool. I'm still surprised I was able to make it to 100, though I did miss a lot of work last month. Thank god the challenge wasn't this month because I barely have time for anything right. I really can't wait to do this again next year and hopefully I'll have more time to keep my list completely filled out.

Great job, as always, Chad! You make participating in this every year all the much more fun. Sorry for not numbering my list, but I figure one movie per day for 31 days is pretty self-enumerating.
Great lists by everyone, and I really enjoyed reading the capsule reviews some of you guys included with your lists. Lots of people with good (and cultish) taste in horror flicks. Always good to see that.
And if no one else mentioned it, kudos on your avatar, Chad. Burial Ground is one of my favorite "so bad, it's great" Italian zombie flicks. Even watched it for the Challenge a year or two ago.

Thanks alot Chad. A lot of fun again.
Next year I have a wedding so I plan on scaling it back. Probally do 31, maybe some video reviews. ( blatantly stealing peoples idea)
for my boob stats, I did pair, and didn't count multiple viewings.
Anyway, thanks for everything and glad everone had fun. Dedicated to the memory of zombiedave.

Congrats to everyone that hit their goals. I had fun, even though I was swamped. Hopefully, next year, I can get back into the swing of things.

I remember reading somewhere that someone with a large total from last year got banned from the contest. Anyone remember who it was and why?

Hey, everyone, sorry to get back so late, I was in a two month school for my job, and just finished another school this past Friday. Haven't been able to get caught up here. But nevertheless, I had a great time this challenge. Thanks, Chad! Great job as before. I enjoyed reading everyone's list and the always entertaining (sometimes educational) discussions. Thanks to all!
'till next time-
