Will These Titles Ever Be Released?
I am wanting to complete the American Film Institute's 100 Greatest Movies of All-Time, both the 1998 and 2007 list. I'm also working on the Best Picture Winners. I refuse to buy bootleg or copied movies and don't really want to buy any other region coded movies. There are a few movies I'm having problems locating.
Is there any hope that these will be released? Wings - 1928 Cavalcade - 1933 Duck Soup - 1933 Wuthering Heights - 1939 |
Re: Will These Titles Ever Be Released?
From what I can find on Amazon.com it seems that Duck Soup and Wuthering Heights have been released on DVD in the USA - they can both be had from Amazon Marketplace Sellers.

Duck Soup was in the Marx Bros. silver screen collection readily available everywhere.

Wuthering Heights is OOP. If you have multi-region player, you can pick up the region 2 MGM DVD for under $10 at Amazon UK (although you say you would rather not).

Re: Will These Titles Ever Be Released?
I think I might be able to find Duck Soup. I might have to settle for the all region version of Wuthering Heights.

What about It's a Gift - 1934? DVDAF lists it as Not Yet Announced from Universal Studios.
I know it's in the W.C. Fields collection, but what about alone? |
