My God http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Mig...e-Series/12765 The January 5th release of Mighty Mouse, The New Adventures - The Complete Series comes on 3 DVDs, with every installment of the Saturday morning cartoon digitally remastered and presented in the original full screen video format. This release also includes several extras! First up are 3 Bonus Mighty Mouse cartoons, from the original Terry Toons theatrical shorts, "chosen from the Paramount vaults and restored for this release" (per info supplied to retailers). Also included is a Featurette, described this way in the studio's information: "Includes loads of interviews and audio commentaries from show contributors who went on to become animation's best and brightest such as Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), Jim Reardon (Wall-E), John Kricfalusi (Ren & Stimpy) and Tim Minton (Tiny Toons)." We also have heard that animation historian Jerry Beck may have somehow been involved in this release; he's always a valuable contributor to collections such as these! |

I never thought I'd see the day. And hopefully we will see the day...and that this isn't canceled or delayed indefinitely. I also hope the episodes are uncut, even the infamous "drug sniffing" episode.

Excellent news! I loved this show when I was a kid, hopefully it still stands up. Some wonderfully oddball stuff, if I recall.

I want the old unsung, non-star Terrytoons, b&w and color, e.g. "Robinson Crusoe's Broadcast" (1938). Haven't seen that one in about 43 years.

This was one of the GREATEST SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS EVER. Can't wait. A spiritual precursor to Ren & Stimpy if there ever was one.

My patience is about to pay off. I almost bought this a number of times at comic book shows but held out in hopes that someday it would become available professionally.
