Remember that Amazon is once again having their 25 days of free Christmas MP3s. All 15 tracks still available.

This is in addition to their usual several free albums and singles per week.

So far I've been watching X-mas movies a lot more than shows, but I think I'm going to bust out the Christmas specials this weekend. Hopefully I'll hit my goal of 25 before next week starts.

I am at 94 and past all personal records from previous years. I still have plenty of tv shows and movies, and a lot of watching left on the dvr.

I am failing also, studying for my exams has taken up more of my time then I expected. I still hope to reach my goal by the end though. A week from today I will be free until the end of the challenge.

Working two 6 day work weeks is slowing me down......hopefully this weekend I'll be able to catch up on some movies and Rankin/Bass specials.

Booger. I really want to watch Silent Night, Deadly Night right now, but I see that my unopened copy is going for almost $50 on Amazon. Decisions, decisions.

Really?!?!? Damn! I would like to sell it, but I love that movie too much to get rid of it.

It's Christmas, Trevor. Open it and watch it; that's why you bought it in the first place. Consider it a Christmas gift to yourself.

I normally completely agree. But in cases where I'm sure I'll eventually be able to buy it again for $5 or less, I like to sell things to slightly support my habit.

Besides, 8/9 of it is free on youtube right now, and I'm sure I'll be able to find the rest of it if i looked hard enough. Plus I have like 20 other Santa slasher films to watch.

But yeah, I'll probably open it.

If you find that missing 10 minutes, please send the link my way... I never went back to watch the rest of the movie... too bitter.

Definitely.

And this is why I never watch anything in multiple parts on youtube until I download each part.

Re: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 5th Annual Holiday Movie Challenge (11/23-1

I'm watching Scrooged right now, it's the first time I've watched the DVD I bought last year. Something quite odd and amusing happened while I was watching. It got to the part as Bryce and Grace are walking Frank to the elevator just before he meets the Ghost of Christmas Future and Bryce says something like "It's great to work for the Frank Cross" anyway, just for part of that line the caption came on the screen and that was that. No other captions, just for that part of the line. I've never seen something like that happen before. I had to laugh.

Inspired by this thread, I decided to check out FYE while Christmas shopping at the mall last night. And while I didn't find the Double Feature of Silent Night, Deadly Night, I did find the Uncut and Uncensored version for $8.99. Picked it up with Santa Slay for $4.99 and Drag Me To Hell (BD) for $16.99. I will watch the two Christmas ones this weekend. Yay!

Watching all these older TV shows reminds that they dont make an Xmas episode like they used to

It seems that part of Clueless takes place at Christmas, though I don't know if the whole thing does I didn't finish watching it.

Re: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 5th Annual Holiday Movie Challenge (11/23-1

I realize that it's kind of late in the game to expand the rules, but I had a though. How about allowing non-holiday films in the final week of the Challenge as "tributes' to favorite actors/performers who have died in the last year? Allow one film per person. Possibilities this year could include Patrick Swayze, Farrah Fawcett, Soupy Sales, Brittany Murphy, etc.?
