I wish there was some way the WWE could be able to use the WWF Attitude logo but just for DVD releases or something.

Hmm they must of removed them after they put the sale up. They were certainly still there when I placed my orders but that was within a few minutes of the sale going up so I must of gotten lucky. Just hope they don't try and cancel my orders now.

Upon further investigation, I saw them when I Google searched it...but I think I'll wait - the 40% off prices aren't that great.

Just got an Amazon $25 GC and bought Volume 1 of the Survivor Series Anthology. I also won a eBay auction for Volume 2 for $30 plus $3 shipping.

Not yet, guessing in the next few months Vol. 3 and 4 will be announced. Only thing is Vol. 4 will end with 2006 since they release it in 5 disc sets, so there will likely be a Vol. 5 to include 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011
My guess is Vol. 3 and 4 will be release sometime mid next year.

Im going to hold out for the possibility of a complete box set. I don't get why WWE went the other way around for Survivor Series Anthology. It leaves us with a huge ? on if there will actually be a complete box set. I would have bought it right away if it was a complete set.
There hasn't been any sort of mention of a free box to store them all in here in the States. So I doubt there will be one.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
I'm not too worried about a complete Survivor Series Anthology. I already own the originals from 2000-2008, which have extras, the Anthology versions will not.
So i'm going pick up Volume 3 only (1997-2001), don't really have a choice with 2000 and 2001 being included, atleast i would have 97,98 and 99 to complete it.
It was pretty strange what they did with the way of releasing it, early 2007 after Survivor Series 2006 DVD was released was the perfect time to put out the 20 disc set (1987-2006), then Royal Rumble could have been released near the christmas holidays in 2007.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
So you think we won't be able to have a complete Survivor Series DVD set until late 2011 or early 2012? That would suck! WWE should have released the Anthologies in a way that would have made more sense. Survivor Series 1987-2006 to have been released in late 2006 or early 2007, Royal Rumble 1988-2007 to have been released mid to late 2007, SummerSlam 1988-2007 to have been released late 2007 or early 2008 (All 20-Disc Sets), and WrestleMania I-XXV (1985-2009) last as a 25-Disc set to have been released 2009. We could have had a new COMPLETE anthology every year since 2006. That would have made a ton more sense. Instead now we are left with an odd number for Survivor Series for a few years.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
Im fairly sure the Summerslam Anthology was delayed for a good 6 months due to the Benoit incident...so maybe we would have had volumes 3 and 4 now already under the original timeline.
Anyway it doesnt get released here in Australia for 2 days but i was able to pick up volume 1 early, must admit it feels weird purchasing just a single volume when i've got 3 other boxsets, i will get volume 2 later this week, like sg2386 im gonna pick up volume 3 next yr and that will be it for me, the only one of volume 4 that would interest me is 2002...which i already have... i can see a full boxset being well over a year away.
Its a shame the wrestlemania one was horrible with all the editing, but credit where its due they did a good job on the summerslam one and from what i've seen these ones...will be interesting to see if they do king of the ring next.

Well for those of you interested in the HIAC Limited Edition Undertaker & Kane busts, it's now on sale for $34.99 each at FYE. I'll most likely wait for one more price drop (Unless I start to see them disappear) since there's so many at both local FYE's & Sat Mat.
I picked up No Surrender 09 yesterday from FYE for sale price of $9.99 with Bobby Lashley on the cover. Still need Survivor Series 1 & 2, and the Hogan Unreleased set. Really looking forward to the World Championship DVD, I'm loving the prospect of that documentary and how they might attempt to tie all the different incarnations into one big WWE championship.

They can also include a bonus disc that has the 2006 and 2008 KOTRs from SD and RAW respectively.
I think once Survivor Series is complete, King of the Ring will be next.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
I think King of the Ring will be released, and it's perfect since there have been 10 events so it can easily fit 2 volumes. Volume 1 (1993 - 1997) and Volume 2 (1998 - 2002).

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
They can't do the 1984 - 1991 KOTR's because they weren't ever televised or recorded. From what I know of, they were done yearly at around the same time as a house show. Plus if anyone has ever read the matches from those early KOTR's they weren't the best quality of wrestlers on them. I think though, that maybe the 1991 KOTR was recorded by a 'fan cam' from some fan in attendance. So clearly the quality of it would be questionable.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XII
regarding a collectors box for Survivor Series Anthology, I could see them offering a box at a later date thru the ShopZone...just like they did with the 2005 ppv set. They offered that spinner belt box for $10 to put them in.

So technically my friend above may be correct...anytime I see rebate though, my brain short circuits (Unless it's a big ass rebate for a PC or something).

And in early 2004 when an empty box was offered to store the 2003 PPVs.

Ordered both the SS anthologies from Silvervision and got a free Hell Yeah/WrestleMania 15 Tagged Classic DVD (since order was over 50 pound). Already have those in the original WWF DVDs but will sell it to recoup some of the money spent getting the two volumes.
