Whether 2 more titles are announced or not, this has been a comparatively underwhelming year for Criterion, with next year's slate already diluted by the various IFC releases.

Not surprising - Criterion's releases for December are thin every year.

I honestly don't get that, once the holidays roll in (Thanksgiving, my birthday :D , Christmas) everyone gets lazy and just don't want to work... ;)

I welcome the break. Besides, it's the quality not the quantity, right? Actually, it seems like I filled an entire 3' shelf full of Criterion and Eclipse titles this year. Lot of re-issues, though.
