Re: Horror/Genre Films that need a good R1 release

I would really like to see a re-release of Slumber Party Massacre, as a special edition or not, I'd just like a legit copy. I used to own it, then sold it like an idiot.

Also, would love to see special editions of Nightmare on Elm Street 2-7 or even BD releases of those.

And The Town That Dreaded Sundown, pretty damn good movie.

I'd bet the entire farm that we will be seeing a very elaborate blu-ray/special-edition DVD of at least 'Scream' if not the original trilogy come sept./oct. 2010 to tie into the new trilogy...

Definitely agree with that list, especially House On Sorority Row

Hopefully with the remake coming out we'll see a good re-release of the original on DVD.

Didn't Willard get the Platinum treatment? Strange film

Not a horror film, but T2 needs a real SE with a feature length documentary.

Can't believe that Willard isn't out yet. Were there any sequels besides Ben?

Also anxious to see The Keep.

Hey....can't believe HORROR EXPRESS has not been mentioned. Its long OOP and the only "decent" release was a non-Anamorphic edition from Image about 10 years ago.

What in the world is wrong with existing R1 release? http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=40115057

I have it.. The special features I thought were pretty decent.
Costume & Set Designs
Deleted Scenes
TV Spots
Photo Gallery
English Subtitles
Spanish Subtitles
3 Commentary Tracks
Original Theatrical Trailer

3 Commentaries are not enough? It's been a while since I saw it, but I thought the PQ was pretty good.

What are you looking for in a new release?
