I certainly hope it isn't the original longer cut. Here is one instance where the original director's cut was worse than the truncated version.

1) 2-disc Region 3 Edko films
2) 1-disc Miramax
3) 1-disc Director's Cut from China in the thick Red Case.
Not buying this title again.

I'm definitely buying this again (even though I own two versions of the DVD), but on Blu-ray. This movie should really benefit from high definition as long as they do a good job on the transfer. There's so much eye candy on display.

Hopefully the SD-DVD keeps the DTS and gets a decent transfer this time around. An absolutely beautifully filmed movie, that looks like hell on DVD.

Does anyone know about the Legend of the Drunken Master Blu Ray? Is this version of Drunken Master 2 going to actually have the original audio/english subtitles? Or still be the dubbed version?
