I think you know less about part V after listening to the commentary, lol.

"what is this?"
"who are these people?"
"Is this over yet?"

Disappointing no Alice Cooper music video, TV Spots or release trailer on Jason Lives; it's not like they couldn't be acquired. A little more effort, Paramount!

Is it ever told why Corey Feldman wasn't cast as Tommy in V and VI?

I thought the death scene of the mother was a myth?

No death scene for Mrs. Jarvis was filmed. Director was against the idea of showing adult figure killed. Twin speared in back was on-screen, intentionally in shadow.

Wow both of those covers are pretty good. The New Blood is probably the best one.

Does anyone know why they keep using the Roy mask instead of the proper masks?

And why when Jason was at his peak of undead zombiehood (New Blood), you can clearly see some creamy skin between his glove and sleeve.

Picked up 4-6 yesterday at Best Buy for $14.95 each.

Is anyone keeping the previous box set? I think I'm going to hang on to it mainly for the feature-length documentary about the series on the bonus disc.

Sold mine months ago. I just made a backup of the Bonus DVD just incase some of the features from that never made it over to the new DVDs (and glad I did now!).

I am, It's autographed by a few people plus it has stuff not on the new DVDs.
I can't wait until they announce a new box set with all these deluxe releases.

I really hope there ends up being a box set (and the missing features that were on the Blu-Ray appear on the standard discs).

I'm bummed there are no more BD plans for this year. Guess I'll be waiting for the eventual box set next year (I hope).

I've purchased all 6 of these individual Deluxe Editions so far. I know I'm going to be really pissed when a 1-8 box set eventually comes out with more new material.

Yeah - funny thing is Paramount made their mind up about no BDs for the rest of the year before 2 and 3 even hit store shelves (got wind of it last week). Really disappointed with Paramount right now.

Yes for both DVD and BD. When? Who knows. Maybe when F13 2 (2010) comes out or next October. Paramount is done with F13 for 2009 after these 2 release on BD and DVD unless they change their Q4 plans. Newline should be ramping up though on re-releases of JGTH, X and F v J (as well as the Nightmare on... series).

No, most likely just re-releases in shiny new packaging. F v J was announced for Blu-ray with identical DVD extras so that would be changing anytime soon.
