Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
Aside from the releases from Navarre, you also have the following that were released through TNA's website and not Navarre:
- Best of NWA-TNA Title matches
- Best of X Division Matches
- Best of Bloodiest Brawls
- Best of 3 Live Kru
- Best of America's Most Wanted
- Phenomenal - Best of AJ Styles
- Nevermore - Best of Raven
- Enigma - Best of Jeff Hardy
- Best of NWA-TNA Title Matches (single disc re-release)
- Best of X Division Matches (single disc re-release)
- Best of Bloodiest Brawls (single disc re-release)
And I believe the first 4 or 5 monthly PPVs were released via TNA before being re-issued by Navarre.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
the only TNA DVDs from the 2003-2004 span are:
Best of 3 Live Kru
Best of AMW
I remember Highspots had those couple years back but i didn't get it...kind of regret now since they were like $25 but now will go for much higher than that.

I decided to get Cross the Line at Best Buy today. The price was right (esp. with a gift card), and I also got a Rhino trading card, for some reason.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
I don't suppose anyone would be willing to pick up a copy of the Cross The Line set with the AJ Styles cover for me while it's on sale for cost + shipping and maybe a buck or two for their trouble? If anyone is willing, please PM me, and we can work something out.
I was flipping through the new "Special Issue" of the WWE Magazine with their best-of lists, and I noticed that they had one for the 9 Essential DVDs That Any WWE Fan Must Own (or something to that effect). Anybody have any opinions on their list?

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
Has anyone had problems finding the TNA second 2 None dvd in stores? Also, what's up with stores like Best Buy and T.W.E.C. getting rid of majority of their TNA dvds? Do they plan on not carrying them anymore or is it possible that TNA might be switching distribution from Navarre? I hope so because Navarre sucks when it comes to getting product out to retail stores.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
I have been recently bulking up My WWE dvd collection (around 40 titles started with 5) this year and have been looking into some of the OOP titles. Basically what Im wanting to know is what is everyones opinion on the Chris Benoit: Hard Knocks DVD. Is it worth owning for material purpose? I dont wanna hear peeps whining about what he did to his family cause thats not what Im basing this question on. Are the matches good? Commentary? Any help would be greatful before I shell out the money for it.

Not for nothing, but I miss watching Benoit wrestle. He was terrible on the mike, but he was definitely fun to watch. Unfortunately, everyone remembers him for what he did outside of the ring, not in it. I hope he's burning in hell right now, but I do miss watching him wrestle.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
its hard to watch anything benoit related but the dvd before he died i thought was one of the best if not the best in capturing a superstars career, every match had meaning and should of been on there, not really a filler match on the dvd, these matches alone are worth the dvd
-super j cup final-this was the final match on a japan tournament, just a awesome match
-vs kevin sullivan-this match was ahead of its time and was very hardcore
-vs booker t-these two had a best of seven match and this was the last match in the series and maybe the best
-vs angle in a steel cage from raw-awesome cage match insane moonsault and dive, the match that really made me respect angle, both guys paid there dues big time in this match
-vs angle royal rumble 03-match of the year from 03, one of the best pure wrestling matches EVER, two of the greats bringing down the house, its a treat to watch two pure wrestlers just going out and doing what they do, to bad general fans dont warm up to pure wrestlers or we would have more of these big title matches like this
-mania 20-benoit wins the title in the best triple threat match ever

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
Ill have to pick it up then. The local 2nd hand store had it for 15.99 I bought it but it was only the 2nd disk. So I took it back and got something else. They only had that copy. Its gone now so someone must have bought it.

On a side note: killing your wife, child and then yourself is a bad thing. It's perfectly justifiable to "whine" about that. For some reason, they way you worded things, I felt like you needed that clarification.

Dude, it's Chris Benoit. Of course the matches are "good" (they're actually better than that).

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume X
Looks like I'm the winner, I got a Samoa Joe card.
As far as the Second II None:TNA Tag Teams set, I ordered it from the roh website when they were doing the 40% off sale. No sign of it at FYE's or BB's, according to my local store it's not even in the system (FYE). Go figure. Anyways you can find it at greedbay for $15 shipped so get it there!
So what are we looking at, $24.95 for the Steelbook at FYE(TWEC's)? It feels like it was just yesterday when I got Mania 22 for $14.99. Or WM20 for 14.99. Yeah yeah, I know we get the HOF included, but damn, those of us who run out to pick it up during it's initial release week, throw us a bone would ya.
