Any 10-year anniversary releases coming?

Does anyone know of any new DVD versions of movies that came out in 1999?

There were so many good ones that year: The Matrix, Fight Club, The Blair Witch Project, American Beauty; and, to a lesser extent, The Phantom Menace.

Also 15th anniversary editions of Forrest Gump, Leon: The Professional, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, and many other great movies from 1994 are possible.

The Matrix has a 10th Anniversary Blu Ray that came out today, didn't it? Was there anything new on it?

Anyone else find it unbelievable that these movies are now a decade old? The Green Mile is also 10 years old. Just seems like yesterday that this movie came out!

Yes. Scary, almost. I was 17 when these films came out. Remember it like it was yesterday.

Wouldn't mind a Director's cut of Summer of Sam.

^That would be cool. The R2 MGM edition has a commentary by Spike Lee and some other good bonus features though like cast interviews.

I think most of the titles mentioned by the OP already have more than adequate editions.
Some movies from 1999 that DO need Special editions are: THE INSIDER (preferably Criterion 2-disk Set reminiscent of the Traffic set they put out...) ; Sunshine (the ralph fiennes film), Big daddy, Office space (with at least 2 commentary tracks), Bringing out the Dead, Messenger: Joan Of Ark, Pushing Tin....

I believe it's the pilot for a show based on the movie. Intriguing though that the original director is doing it, I hadn't known that.

If Buena Vista was smart, they would have planned a 10th anniversary edition of 10 Things I Hate About You to come out around the release of 500 Days of Summer.

Other films that could get the 15th Anniversary treatment:

True Lies
Natural Born Killers
Timecop :)

Not that I wouldn't expect this from a major studio, but all four of those titles have 2-Disc SEs. Do we REALLY need more?

I was gonna note in my post that they're not really necessary, but the opportunity is still there. Still, I do hope Leon, PF and FG get the BD treatment.

Regarding Blair Witch Project:

The first time we cut the movie, we knew it was too long -- it was about two and a half hours. There's a lot of good stuff that didn't make the film. I'm really happy with the film and I think we cut it as well as we could. There's plenty of fan interest, though not so much from Lionsgate, but I really would love to put out a two-and-a-half hour version of the movie on DVD; like a Criterion edition with a bunch of extra footage
Found it at Rotten Tomatoes.
