he`s just not that into you 6/2

here are the specs according to dvdtimes:

DVD - A double-sided disc holds both widescreen and full screen version of the film with English DD5.1 Surround audio and English and Spanish subtitles. The only extras are additional scenes with optional commentary by director Ken Kwapis.

Blu-ray Disc
1080P 2.40:1 Widescreen
English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD & 5.1 Dolby Digital
Subtitles (Main Feature): English, Spanish
Subtitles (on Select Bonus Material): English
Additional scenes with optional commentary by director Ken Kwapis (HD)
Baltimore Blade: The Relationship Issue – interactive newspaper that helps you uncover the secret lives of the movie’s characters (HD)
How 6 Simple Words Inspired a book and movie (HD)
Director Ken Kwapis uses a “Duet for Telephones” moment to reveal how film techniques enhance the punch of a conversation scene
Additional Features via BD-Live
Digital Copy

these new release policies are really pissing me off!
the dvd version is a flipper with the widescreen and fullscreen version on it
(flippers remind me of the first dvds released 10 years ago!!),
while the blu-ray is a special edition with plenty of extras!
strange that dvd consumers have now become second class clients for the
industry! i mean how many dvds are sold compared to blu-rays??
shady move of trying to get consumers to switch, in a weak economy where
blu-ray sales are not picking up as fast as studios would like.

The merits/flaws with this system are absolutely debatable, and have been to a great extent in other threads in this forum, but regardless of how you feel about it, you should probably start looking at Blu-Ray exclusive features to be the norm and not the exception.

I can't believe I saw this twice in the theatre I really enjoyed it, blu-ray for me. I really wish they would have included the chick flick cliche video (starring Justin Long, Bradley Cooper, and Kevin Conelly)on the movie website as an extra, its really quite funny.
