Two of my favorite films of last year, that don't seem to be very popular here

I loved Timecrimes. I read in an interview with Nacho Vigolando that the Spanish DVD has the regular cut and a chronological cut included, I might confirm that before buying any disc.

Re: What's The Latest DVD You Bought (Part V)

picked up the 3-Disc edition of Hot Fuzz and Darjeeling Limited at Best Buy the other day.
Got HP and the Sorcerer's Stone digipack at FYE today. amazon doesn't carry it anymore...well the marketplace does but I was hoping to find it new at a retail store/site so I'm happy. they also had The Chamber of Secrets too

Oddly enough I was going to blind-buy Tell No One because of how many times you had mentioned it on the forums. We had it at work but I thought I could get it at Best Buy since I was going there anyway. Turns out they didn't have it.

Read about Timecrimes I believe either in Total Film or Empire Magazine and it had my interest.

A chronological cut would be a great feature. I read that transfer is suppose to be pretty bad on the US release, but I got rid of my region free player, & I like the movie a lot, so I'll have to settle for this.

Re: What's The Latest DVD You Bought (Part V)

Cronos
Slumber Party Massacre 1
Slumber Party Massacre 2
Slumber Party Massacre 3
Horrors Of Malformed Men

Today might have been one of my best DVD shopping trips ever. At a local DVD/CD/Vinyl store I found Slumber Party Massacre 1, 2, & 3, Horrors of Malformed Men and Cronos.

All were used/complete and cost me a total of $36

I've been looking for SPM 1-3 for years as I missed out when they were still in print. Wasn't about to spend $50-60 a piece on them either.

Re: What's The Latest DVD You Bought (Part V)

First my order from Amazon.co.uk from their big sale awhile back which took weeks to come in =(

And secondly, just random purchases over the past week or so. (The Bond set is from the Amazon.com sale a week back)

I have seen it

<3 Tinto Brass

Also thanks to ISNY, you reminded me that I need to order the TinTin set. Been meaning to do that ever since I saw the individual releases in Paris a couple years ago.
