Are the Blu-Ray imports able to be played on any US Blu-Ray player/TV? I've heard the international Blu-Rays are region free but then I see some titles listing region code letters and I know my Samsung Blu-Ray player is NOT region free as it will not play my region two DVDs.

Also confirmed Region Free here:

1. The show was edited at standard-def, so the video is an upscale. It's a decent upscale, but still not a whole lot better than a DVD played through an upscaling player.
2. The extras are encoded in standard-def PAL, so they might not play on your player. (On my PS3, picking one of the extras just makes it jump back to the main menu.)
3. The show was broadcast and released on DVD at 25 fps, but the Blu-rays are 24 fps. There's some debate over which is the intended frame rate.
The second season is supposed to be region-free too. I haven't ordered mine yet, so I can't say for sure.

The first season set is region free, and plays fine on my US PS3 with some caveats:

2. The extras are encoded in standard-def PAL, so they might not play on your player. (On my PS3, picking one of the extras just makes it jump back to the main menu.)
