Re: What Are You Watching This Week? (3/2/09 - 3/8/09)

Today I watched a triple feature of:

The Passion of the Christ
Batman (1989)
21 Grams

For me, Batman and 21 Grams symbolized my evolution in tastes. Batman, back when I was growing up, was the greatest movie in the world. It was one of my most watched VHS tapes and it had no equal. 21 Grams is a movie, that the old me, would probably never watch. 21 Grams was one of those movies that really made me want to somehow be involved in movies and got me to sign up for film school. Both movies really moved me. Batman made me love movies, while 21 Grams made me appreciate them.

As for the Passion of the Christ, I'm not religious in the slightest bit, but I can respect those who do. The movie was brutal just as I remembered from seeing in the theatre but still resonated with me.

Okay, that's all.
