I saw this (Nickelodeon) years ago on TV and thought it was quite good. Anyone who has read through The Parade's Gone By or seen Brownlow's Hollywood documentary will recognize a lot of the plot elements. Glad to see that the original version is being made available as well. If a director wants to futz up their movies years later, at least make the original version available (I'm talking to all the usual suspects, Lucas, Spielberg, Coppola, Friedkin, et al.).

I hate double feature discs. Cheapens a title IMHO. At least they're getting released though... Hopefully more of his films are on the way.

I'm not a fan of double feature discs, either. Especially since I already have The Last Picture Show...
