it does seem odd, that I've only found info regarding this release from DVDAf and Amazon, yet Anchor Bay's website doesn't denote any info on this release. Since AB is releasing 'Hellraiser I' on bluray that day, I guess they'll be milking the Hellraiser discs for all their worth.

I just checked the specs on the region 2.

It contains Hellraiser 1-3, and a bonus disc of extras (4 discs total)

I already own the new versions of part 1 & 2, so I can't see myself paying $42 for part 3 (which I didn't like) and the box.

FYI, Hellraiser 2 (20th anniv. ed) is on sale at best buy for $7.50

Hellraiser 2 is missing a commentary track that IS exclusive to Box set release (director and writer)

curious to see if the DTS sound mixes are included as well.

supposedly the new version of Hellraiser I is the R-rated cut of the film and not the unrated cut (hammer death only) that was in the tin edition - is this true?

For some reason Part 3 is currently out of print...
I got the new editions of 1 & 2 recently as well although I did pay less
than $10 each. I would still probably pick up this set...

Maybe Paramount outsourced the rights to Anchor Bay like they did My Bloody Valentine to Lionsgate.

The studio listed on the Amazon listing is 'Video Treasures', which is apparently what Anchor Bay used to known as. That's weird.

I just found this at videoeta, it lists the Hellraiser Collection as coming out on April 21, 2009 with three discs.
BTW, thanks Dino for pointing out that part 2 is on sale. I already have the newest versions of 1 and 3, so I'm probably going to go get that at BB and pass on this set.

Dammit!!! And I just bought Hellbound the first weekend!

If it does feature the truly uncut Hell on Earth DVD - and DTS - I'll bite. It does happen to be my birthday week this comes out, so that is also gonna be a little fun.

I just became happy that my (now ex-)wife kept my old Hellraiser tin, even though it was signed by Doug Bradley.
