Re: What Are You Watching This Week? (1/26/09 - 2/1/09)
Monday:
The Day The Earth Stood Still (It was fairly enjoyable.. there, that's all I'll say)
24 ["1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M."]
United States of Tara ["Work"]
WWE Monday Night Raw
Lucker the Necrophagous: The Director's Cut (I watched the longer 70 minute cut.. other than a necrophiliac scene like a similar one in Nekromantik, this one is pretty empty.)
Tuesday:
Coupling: The Complete Second Season (eps. 7-9) (Second season was better than the first. Terrific comedy show, it's a shame more people don't know/care about it)
Scrubs ["My ABC's" and "My Cookie Pants"]
Nip/Tuck ["Roxy St. James"]
RocknRolla (Not as good as Snatch, but very enjoyable. Looked really pretty also..)
Wednesday:
Outlander (I thought it was bad-ass. I really enjoyed this one)
ReGOREgitated Sacrifice (Uhhh.. I'm speechless!)
Lost ["Jughead"]
Cutie Honey (Pretty fucked up Anime/Live action film. Gosta love those Japanese.)
Insanitarium (I only sat through this for Olivia Munn. She's only in it for a bit part but I had to sit through it anyway. That's love..)
Thursday:
The Air I Breathe (Good, not great. The cast were all stellar.)
Smallville ["Power"]
Supernatural ["After School Special"]
TNA: Wrestling Impact!
Friday:
The Babysitters (Pretty cute little film.. nothing too special)
Undeclared: The Complete Series [Disc One] (Eps. 1-6 with Unaired footage)
Trouble Every Day (Vincent Gallo is annoying in everything he does while Béatrice Dalle is terrific in mostly everything.. and that continues here. Pretty bloody but really slow.)
Battlestar Galactica ["The Oath"]
Friday Night Smackdown!
Blackout (Extremely predictable. Tamblyn was good as was Mayor Carcetti. Oh, and pretty good camerawork too.. The gore effects were also fairly well done, there wasn't enough of it though..)
Saturday:
The Stewardesses: 3D [B&W] (Not something I'd ever want to see on more than one occasion, but fun nonetheless)
TWA: Spring Spectacular '90 (highlight was Jerry Lawler vs. Kerry Von Erich in the first match in Philadelphia history to feature fire..)
Pride and Glory (I'm a fan of both Farrell and Norton but this was extremely uneven. Parts I liked some parts I didn't.. Couldn't really feel the ending, though.)
Eight Below (My GF made me watch this. I ain't gone lie, I wept like a Catholic schoolboy)
Sunday:
I.K.U. (Extremely fucked up Cyberpunk flick. All kinds of sex..)
The Unborn (Other than Odette Yustman this flick is just all kinds of awful. Actually made me question why I continually watch Horror films..)
TWA: Clash of the Independents ('88) (only real standout was The Iron Sheik vs. David Sammartino)
Wolverine and the X-Men ["Hindsight Pts. 1, 2 and 3"]
Big Love ["Prom Queen"]
The Office ["Stress Relief"]
Frágiles (...and this is the reason I do. Brilliant atmospheric Horror flick.)
