Question about some Wal-Mart Clint Eastwood double features

I was thinking about picking up the double features Fistful of Dollars/For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly/Hang 'em High and was wondering how the AQ/PQ were. Are they anamorphic?

I can't comment on those sets specifically but the Eastwood triple feature w/ Joe Kidd, High Plains Drifter and 2 mules... lists each title as anamorphic. I haven't watched them yet to verify for certain though.

Re: Question about some Wal-Mart Clint Eastwood double features

I'm wondering if these double features are just the old single disks stuck in one case. According to DVD compare, the single disks of Hang 'em High and The Good the Bad and the Ugly are anamorphic but Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are not, which is making me a little reluctant to purchase that one.

I'm sure thats the case. I'd just spring for the new 2-disc sets or the Leone Anthology, and then get the single disc of Hang 'Em High for $5 or whatever it goes for these days

Well, the thing is I'm not really that interested in the special features on the 2-disk sets and just want the movies in some form to hold me over until the Blu-ray editions are released (and I know they're getting released at some point since they're out in other countries). And I'd rather pay $9 for two movies instead of $10-$15 apiece for the special editions considering I have no interest in the special features.
