I always like to see more TV matches on these DVD releases, since they're not usually available otherwise. What about:
-Angle vs. Sabu - ECW
-Angle vs. Mysterio - Last SmackDown match
-Angle vs. Undertaker - WHC - February 2006
-Angle winning the WHC in a battle royal - January 2006
-vs. Eddie Guerrero - 2/3 Falls Match - September 2004
-vs. Brock Lesnar - Iron Man Match - Septembder 2003

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX
Going out to get the Legends of Wrestling set today. I'm hoping to get all 6 of them at Best Buy this morning.
I have absolutely loved the episodes of the roundtables I've seen, hopefully they release more episodes later down the line.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX
For those that are thinking of ordering online at BestBuy.com with in-store pickup. I put all six in my basket, but when I went to check out, I noticed that only two showed up at the $7.99 price. The rest were $12.99 each.
Trying it again with only two titles this time, the prices came up $7.99 each.
So I made three separate two-title only transactions, each one totaling $17.30 after tax.
$17.30 x 3 = $51.90
$51.90 / 6 (# of titles) = $8.65 per title

So it looks like it will take three separate two-title only transactions to guarantee all will be $7.99 each.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX
Someone asked a question in the other thread before it ended that I have been curious about as well. Is there any reason they don't release tv matches in full instead of the tv version? I would think that would be a draw for people to buy the dvds etc. I think they released a couple matches that way when they were doing the live feeds on WWE.com when they went to commercial.. just seems like it would be a real treat.
Also, with all the talk about Blu-Ray, I actually went to the first High Def TV "Taping" at Mohegan Sun Arena in CT. They had a whole smackdown show, set, pyro, etc just testing out the HD equipment. It was pretty cool. I wish they would release that but doubt it since it was just really a test tv show that was supposed to be a house show.

I specifically looked at the Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle Ironman match from SmackDown which had pinfalls decided during commercial breaks.
Surely the footage exists, but there may not be any commentary once they cut to break.
Commentary or not, it would be a neat experience to see matches like the Steamboat v. Flair 2/3 Falls match in full, as well as Flair vs. Perfect "Loser Leaves Raw" match - which is trimmed on The Best of Raw 15th Anniversary release.

Picked up all 6 Legends of Wrestling DVDs at Best Buy in NYC at 23rd/Broadway. All of them rang up for $7.99 so I'm not sure if that was a mess up at my Best Buy or the website has the deal wrong.
Also, I wonder if we're getting the Rumble Blu-Ray in the states as WWE Shop is only listing the standard DVD and Silvervision appears to be the only site listing it for a release. Usually Amazon has a pre-order up for WWE DVDs long before Silvervision.

I hope its not a Silvervision or UK exclusive, but it could be because Genius Products are having some financial trouble.

I picked them up at lunch, and they ended up being $7.99 each after it was all scanned. Not a bad deal for $50.xx or so for all six of them.

Fake nWo music on Heatseekers dvd... WTF!? nWo music for Perfect DVD and during clips on Starrcade DVD but not for Hall's matches on this? I hate WWE... you never know what to expect.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX
I heard that on the Heatseekers dvd, in the Booker T/Russo match, that they completely blur Rey Mysterio's face. Can someone confirm?

In case anyone still needs the bonus Blu-Ray, Best Buy has the PS3 Collector's Edition of Smackdown vs Raw 2009 on sale for $59.99. Sell the game and keep the Blu-Ray. I sold my unopened copy of the game for $45 on half a few days ago.

Are the matches on the heatseekers DVD in full?
For $7.99, it would be worth it just to get Goldberg/Hall, Hall/Nash, and Booker/Russo.

That is the single most idiodic edit in WWE history. You can't erase the fact that Rey was unmasked in WCW

I picked up all 6 Legends of Wrestling DVDs and the new CD that includes the exclusive Best Buy CD too. I'm not a fan of the Legends of Wrestling cover art, but I'm really looking forward to watching these.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX
I wanted the new CD with the bonus Legends disc at Best Buy, so I just decided to get it and the Legends DVDs the cheapest way. I bought the CD and the 3 BB exlcusive Legends DVD for $7.99 each at Best Buy and ordered the other 3 volumes in the boxset for ~$23 shipped from DVD Pacific. I saved about $6 + tax that way.
