Is the blurb on the cover, "A full-blown pop culture phenomenon" an actual indication of quality?

They might as well say, "critics agree...it's a popular movie."

I like it when you have the main actors on the commentary.

I smell a double-dip for when New Moon comes out. Petty lackluster.

Haha, a "fandom" panel. What is that, a bunch of teenage girls screaming about how much they love Edward Cullen?

I wish most big studio releases were this lackluster to have a commentary and a 7 part making of documentary. If only the Dark Knight DVD was as "lackluster" as this release...

Don't sterotype Twilight fans. I'm a 26 year old, my fiance told me about the movie before I read the books. He's also 26 and a complete horror movie fanatic.

I cannot wait to get this on DVD, considering it's one of my favorite movies now.

Re: Twilight - 2 Disc DVD Edition ----------> 3/21/09

First off, apparently DVD Talk isnt the internet destination for the tween set, eh?

Snarkyness aside, I have to admit that I am hooked by this series even though I am totally way outside of the targeted demographic (34 year old male). I find the books extremely readable (yes, there is interludes in the first two books that Ive read that can be gag inducing) with fairly interesting characters to follow. If Harry Potter can become the huge phenominon that it is, I have no problem with the Twilight series.

This will be a huge seller when it comes out, and looks like alot of love has gone into this DVD release.

At the moment, this would be a blind buy, but count me in....

My friend Amber is one of the biggest vampire fans I've ever known in my life. She lives for shit like that.

She wanted absolutely nothing to do with this movie. :)

Probably because the Cullens aren't your "traditional" kind of vampires.
