Jet Li's Hitman aka Contract Killer HELP
 

Hey. I dont want to buy the Columbia "Contract Killer" DVD...I want they one that looks like this http://www.amazon.com/Hitman-Jet-Li/...0003660&sr=8-1

But it says its non anamorphic....but I read it was re released as anamorphic DVD. I dont want to buy it online for $10 or more and get it have it be non anamorphic. If thats the case then Ill have to settle for the Contract Killer which I can get for much cheaper.

Or does anyone have a copy of the anamorphic they dont want anymore?

A remastered anamorphic edition of this film was released in Hong Kong in 2004:

Thanks for that. I dont know if I should just order it used from Amazon and take the chance that its the Anamorphic version and save a couple of bucks....

I have the version you linked to on Amazon, which is the original Hong Kong Mei Ah edition, likely rebadged somehow by Tai Seng. Haven't watched it in ages, but it's definitely from an era when "anamorphic" was hardly a priority in the Hong Kong DVD industry. I'd be wary.
