Nope.

I've bought maybe 40-50 movies on Blu-ray ever since picking up a PS3 a couple of years ago. I still have a 30-inch standard TV which I use to play them on. I sometimes buy Blu when I know I'm just going to want a HD version of the movie when I finally get a HD set.

I only buy full screen if it is the OAR or the only US release available of a movie I want.

One of the major reasons I started purchasing DVDs in the first place was because of widescreen OAR being more available.
