EXOTICA UK edition ... question

OK I'm sick of this movie being out of print and I came across a UK version that is anamorphic. Forgive my ignorance but it says "All Regions" but then it also says PAL format. Is this thing going to work in my player or not? All regions would imply that it would, but the PAL implies that it won't

Has anyone heard anything about a new US release of this film??? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I want it !!!

It probably won't work in your regular player unless it can do PAL to NTSC conversion (some do, but most of the name brand players do not). It should work in your computer.

You can pick the movie up used at Amazon for around $10.

You can also get it new from CDPLUS.COM for $8.99CAN, and apparently with free shipping, even to the U.S.

Be aware, however, that while the UK version is anamorphic, the R1 releases are not.

A lot of players are capable of PAL to NTSC conversion--as well as being able to go region-free. Check your player here:

I'd pass on the non-anamorphic R1 release. I'm currently in the process of upgrading all (as many as possible) my old non-anamorphic DVDs with their new R1 releases or ones from other regions (e.g., True Lies from Germany). I didn't care nine years ago, but do now with a HDTV since last December.
