Nope dude, never saw that auction though. Purchased the Hogan Statues myself thru direct selling via the sculptor's factory.
The life size statue costs around $1000 while the half size statue is only $300.

More pics & information can be found thru my website man if your interested.

A good three-disc set has a LOT of potential.
Hulk Hogan's promo from the SmackDown before Judgment Day 2002 in Montreal in it's entirety would be awesome to have

- Best Buy will have the RAW tribute as a bonus disc
- Sunrise Records will have the SD tribute as a bonus disc

i liked the RAW one simply because of the emotional beginning with all the superstars on the stage and Vince at the front.

SD was good as well, Benoit vs. HHH was pretty good but too bad they cut that match out.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got that for the ten-year anniversary of his death, which is next May.

Martha Hart would probably never go for anything WWE related.

Well, she's allowed those Jakks Legends Figures of Owen to be made, so a tribute DVD is not so far fetched.

What legends figures of Owen are you talking about? I have never seen a Jakks legends figure of Owen. Just curious.

You might be right. The legal ramifications of a DVD which is partially capitalizing on someone's death (let's face it, Owen Hart was great, but his death made him sadly unique) could be great. But if they handled the way they did the Bret DVD, making it mostly a bio, with some stuff on his death, it could be a success. What matches do you think would be featured?

i like owen hart but i think theres a few superstars in front of him who deserve a dvd before he does, im not saying he doesnt but what about a macho man, jericho, or even a bret hart part 2 dvd before owen

i like owen but never thought he was as good as bret, lots of fans say he was, but i dont see it, bret could have a 5 star match with almost anybody and tell a story, owen was good but maybe a notch or two down from bret

by the way does it matter if harts family never wanted a dvd of him, wwe owns his entire career library and if they do a documentry they would get all the superstars to talk about them, theres nothing the harts could go is there??

and what was the deal with bret and his family, i heard there were a few of his family members he never talked to, does anybody have the backstory to this?

You guys are right. I was confused because I saw a couple of custom made Owen Hart figures on ebay and thought that they were part of the line. I would love an Owen DVD, done the same way Brian Pillman's and Bret's DVDs.

I can't wait for that Flair shoot to start shipping. I went all out and ordered the 4-disc set with an autograph.

I placed my order the morning it was first available, and the autograph was only $20 at that time. Woohoo!

according to the KOCH site here is the description and match list for the Starrcade: The Essential Collection:

For longtime fans of professional wrestling, the end of the year meant one of the biggest events of the year—Starrcade. Rivalries that had festered for months would be settled once and for all. Man, they sure repeated a lot of matches that were on other sets. If I counted correctly, NINE of the matches are already available on recent DVDs. Still, it's nice to see Goldberg/Nash there, which is great for its notoriety, and Flair/Vader, which is just an awesome David/Goliath match.

I wish they included Sid vs. Scott Steiner from 2000 and Bret Hart vs. Goldberg from 99 just for historical purposes.

Also Benoit vs. Jarrett from 99 in the Ladder match was awesome too, that match was suppose to be included in the Ladder match DVD but for some reason it was cut (before the whole Benoit incident).

As far as I am aware all the footage used is taken from the original "The New and Improved DX" DVD set. The following is the description given on the back of the case.

"Features highlights of DX terrorizing the McMahons, as well as the build up and eventual confrontation at Summerslam 2006. Also includes spotlights of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and fellow superstars reflect on the popularity of DX."

Running time 36 mins

Hope this helps.
