Apocalypse Now Complete Dossier question
 

I just did a blind buy of the Apocalypse Now Complete Dossier set and cannot understand why the film is spread across 2 discs. Does anyone know if the two main features can't fit on on disc and the extras on another? Or did the director like to have an intermission during the film?
