Thanks for the offer, that's very thoughtful of you. But it's ok. I thought it was one of these big detailed figurines, especially when I heard they ran out so quickly.

Once again, Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

is the bonus disc a ripoff?

it seems like they probably could have put that extra stuff on the original dvd but I guess they want you to pay $22 for a extra 8 minute short with its own dvd case?

Its not bad. Its about 24 minutes long. Since the 2 disc is the same price as the 1 disc at Best Buy this week its worth it in my opinion.

Plus the second disc contains some bonus features not on the first disc.

I thought it was pretty lame that the Blu-ray has all of the bonus features from both discs but was missing the Furious 5 short.

If anyone cares I checked Amazon and the 2 disc edition with the furious five short is now $15.99 in case if you want to buy it there and avoid paying extra for sales tax at best buy.

Re: Kung Fu Panda 11/11/08

Well, Paramount is releasing the Secret of the Furious Five as an individual release:

Title: Secrets Of The Furious Five
Starring: N/A (Animation)
Released: 24th March 2009
SRP: Price TBC

Further Details:
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Secrets Of The Furious Five which features the voices of Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman. The 24 minute adventure was previously only available in a 2-pack with Kung Fu Panda. Extras will include featurettes (Inside the Chinese Zodiac, Animals of Kung Fu Panda, Learn the Panda Dance), a Pandamonium Activity Kit, and more. We've attached the artwork below:

This is a complete rip-off. Releasing a 24 minute featurette as a separate release? This could have been included as an extra on all versions of the DVD and BD without any problem.

Reminiscent of 'Shrek the Halls'...
