Battlestar Galactica 2003 Miniseries: Extra Disc?
 

I recieved this DVD in the mail today from Blockbuster. And for some reason, it came with two discs. Disc Two is single sided and is exactly the same as Side 2 of Disc One. Has this happened to anyone? Thought it was kinda strange...

I purchased mine brand new from Wal*Mart back when it first came out and it came with 2 discs... However, my first disc is blank on side 2. The side 2 contents are only on the 2nd disc.

Some dual sided DVDs are issued in 2 disc versions for rental places. Like the Dune Extended set is a DVD 18 at retail, but I remember reading about people finding it at Blockbuster as two DVD 9s.

I imagine it's because most of the rental crowd isn't as gentle with their DVDs as hardcore collectors.

I think this was one of those weird releases where some boxes had a flipper disc and some boxes had 2 one-sided DVDs.
