Here's a funny Classifieds ad involving DVDs

http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/wan/796991663.html

"I want to trade my New Line Anniversary Collection for your digital projector! Includes: Pink Flamingos, A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Player, The Mask, Seven, Austin Powers, Boogie Nights, Wag the Dog, The Wedding Singer, Rush Hour, Blow, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Elf, The Notebook, Wedding Crashers, New Line Cinema Documentary: The First Generation and The Next Generation The set is unopened and its list price is $274.98"

This is when DVD collecting goes too far, thinking that one's dvd collection actually has a lot of money value and can be worth trading for a Projector! I will be seriously amazed if someone makes him an offer. There is no way in hell that a used projector in good condition would be a fair trade for eighteen-something dvds. It's the equivalent of saying "I'll trade you my baseball card collection for your home theater system."

Doesn't say that the project has to be in working condition

BullGooseLoony,
well if they are all really old cards, pre-1952, then maybe, but anything after is more or less worthless nowadays...

DOUBLEDOWNAGAIN,
wow...that's really sad and funny. That comes to 5 bucks per VHS tape...has this seller ever been to a garage sale? Even if they were selling for 25 Cents a tape, I still don't think he could sell them. What a shmuck...

Here's another one: VINTAGE VHS tapes for 12 dollars each....the kicker is that they come "ALL WITH ORIGINAL COMMERCIALS". Wow, vintage, copied off the tv, only for 12 dollars each! what a deal!!:

http://newyork.craigslist.org/que/emd/803200592.html

Vintage VHS TV Tapes..each - $12. Choose from the 2008 OR 1997 Superbowl,a 1998 showing of two episodes of
The Girl from UNCLE,Night of 100 Stars from 1982 at Radio City with scads of
classic stars, the 1986 NBC 60th birthday party with more early tv shows and
stars, the 1991 Yankees Oldtimers day game and a perfect game by Yankees Wells,
shutting out Minnesota. All with original commercials.

Exactly. I might get rid of a projector for a Mickey Mantle rookie card.
