I read that same thing. But last night I was doing some digging on the net and came across a news site that had a comments that were credited to Heenan's daughter.

"I am writing to the editor(s) of this site to set a few things straight for the fans of my dad Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. I was pulled aside at work last week and asked how long my dad had? (WHAT????) I just wanted everyone to know that the story that my dad only had a month to go and he doesn't know the people around him is completely false. He is in fact making a slow and steady recovery since his jaw replacement in December 2007. He has lost nothing of his sense of humor that makes him "The Brain" and certainly remembers everyone around him. I would like to point out that he still has trouble talking and has started speech therapy to reteach his muscles how to work properly. He is otherwise in great health and spirits as I am about to give him his first grandchild, a boy due in October. The whole family is happy and excited.

I am certainly not mad at you guys, for you usually have pretty good information. This time however you were misinformed. I not only write to you on behalf of my dad, who is the greatest person (and manager!) I have ever known, but for his fans who deserve to know the truth. I just want to let everyone know that "The Brain" is still here. You can't get rid of him that easily! "

I hope this is true, because I'd sure hate to see Heenan go. It's hard to know what to believe since a good portion of wrestling internet media is b.s. and rumors.

Shit, i'll buy a DVD of nothing but his one-liners and fights with Monsoon.

Also, that WCW Worldwide commentary of a Hacksaw Jim Duggan squash needs to be included! College?!?!

There is an awesome easter egg on disc 2 of Mr. Perfect....click left on the Perfect/Hogan match chapter and its the clip of Mr. Perfect destroying the WWF Title w/ a hammer...Im really glad they included that segment somewhere! Just wanted to pass it on..... speaking of easter eggs, does anyone have a complete list of easter eggs on the US WWF/WWE dvds?

Finally, I can give the WWE dvd team credit. Unlike many, many other of their wrestling dvds with the Mr. Perfect dvd they did not include the same match that was on the Hulk Rules dvd. BTW thanks for the link to the easter eggs.

K-mart's ad showed the 2004 Bad Blood/Vengeance Tagged Classic, and then had a picture of last year's Summerslam cover. Is there a joint pack of Summerslam 2007/2008, or was it just the wrong picture?

Also for people in Canada, i just found out that there will be 2 store exclusives for the Eddie Guerrero DVD. Best Buy will have a RAW Exclusive bonus disc and also Sunrise Records will a SMACKDOWN Exclusive bonus disc. No details on what they will include.

Pretty cool that Canada will finally get store exclusives since US always gets them.

Not sure if this was posted or not, But you can still get the gamestop exclusive TNA bonus dvd that was only available if you pre-ordered the game thru there website or in-store. Either ebgames.com or gamestop.com has it available.

You can still possibly talk your way into getting one in store if the sales clerk is nice enough. There's no guarantees though. Yesterday I ran into a duo that was playing the good cop/bad cop routine with me.

Bad Clerk 1: Sorry sir but that was only available if you PRE-ORDERED it.

Me: Yea, I understand. But do you still have them available?

Good Clerk 2: Yes

Me: Cool, can I get it if I buy the TNA GAME?

Bad Clerk 1: That's only available if you PRE-ORDERED it.

Me: I totally get that point, but the game was released days ago, thus no need to pre-order it.

Good Clerk 2: The game itself has bonus content

Me: But, I want the bonus disc, I'm not going buy the game if the bonus disc isn't included.

Yeah, I had no such luck, so I told them I was just going to go buy the game somewhere else. Which I did.

A friend tells me that not only do you get a bonus DVD separately w/ the "preorder", there's also another DVD inside the case w/ the game...

Hopefully gonna pick up the Mr. Perfect DVD today at Wal-Mart....really looking forward to this.

If you buy from EB or GameStop theres a DVD inside the case in a paper sleeve that has 5 matches, its a EB/GameStop exclusive. They don't give another DVD, its already packaged inside, its only likely available on the first batches of the game, the next shipments will most likely not have it. In the game itself, they have 2 exclusive matches, so you get 7 full length matches plus the game for $60

I read though, if you buy from Best Buy, you get the Sting: Return of an Icon DVD with it.

Ok, this should clear up everything regarding the tna game w/bonus discs

I just came back from gamestop and the clerk told me the bonus disc titled "bonus content" is only available with the xbox 360 game, which is packed inside the game case in a paper sleeve. It's not a store exclusive and you can get it anywhere they sell the x-box 360 version.

The 90 minute tna dvd w/5 specialty matches is only available if you pre-ordered the game at gamestop/ebgames.

:( So no FYE Summerslam tin?!

How did you guys like the Mr. Perfect documentary?

I loved it CaseyB but they left out his face turn in 1992 which for me was a great WWF moment especially when he pours the jug of water on Heenan.. I know Vince hates Savage but he cant leave out important moments of another legend's career cause of it..

Apart from that, it was very good on his AWA career, the outtakes from his early skits, his IC Title run etc. I'd recommend it to any old-school wrestling fan. Gets a ****1/2

yea...the exclusion of that whole angle was ridiculous...not only was it a very entertaining angle, but he was a last minute substitution so some explanation of how this all came about would have been good...like how long had he been healthy and ready to return, and in what capacity would he have returned if he had not had been plugged in to this match...also this angle was monumental on several fronts, as it led to Perfect's only run as a face in WWF as well as his only WWF ppv main event match.

I just got back from FYE w/my tin. Pretty plain but, it's still a tin and tin's are cool.
