- From W.D. Lee: This is in regards to the news item about the Mr. Perfect DVD and Wal-Mart not carrying it. While I don't doubt some areas didn't receive any copies, my local Wal-Mart in San Diego had a bunch of them on sale for 19.96.
- From Michael VanSlyke: I read on your site that someone said Walmart was not going to be selling the Mr. Perfect DVD. I work in electronics at a Walmart in Oneida NY and we got a shipment of them in days ago and have them on shelves now. Every Monday night we get a new mod layout of how to arrange the DVDs to fit new ones and if we got ones with the DVD on it, most other Walmarts will too. So this may not be completely true.

I am pretty sure that Unforgiven cover is a placeholder until the official cover is released by WWE. I remember the GAB DVD cover on silvervision was basically the promotional poster.
Just wait til its available on WWEshop.com, which should be up in a couple of weeks. I am pretty sure the cover will feature all 3 scramble matches.

i am sure they will also add one of the Rock/HHH (probably the 2/3 Falls from Fully Loaded 98 since the Ladder match is on the Ladder DVD and Summerslam Anthology) and Rock/Austin from the DX ppv, it wasn't really a match but it was really entertaining.

After my last post, I thought about it. How about a Tito Santana dvd set? I know it may sound silly to some, but he was arguably the greatest worker in the WWE in the early to mid-80's. He's got tons of great matches and feuds they could chronicle. Feuds with Valentine, Muraco and Martel. And, he's one of the few who didn't turn into a wrestling tragedy. I think Tito's career deserves at least a 2 disc treatment.

Unfortunately, I really don't think that a Tito set would sell to well to the casual fan. I collect all of the wwe/tna dvds because I'm such a huge fan of the business, but the regular fan probably would not be too interested in Tito, sadly.

I totally agree. I suggested a while back that a 3 disc set devoted to Heenan and the Heenan Family (his wrestling stable, not his real family) would be a good idea. You'd get lots of Bobby as well as bits on guys who aren't apt to get their own dvd's like Studd, Bundy, Patera and Orndorff.
I also think they need to do a set on the British Bulldogs though I'm afraid the closest we'll get is one on Davey Boy Smith alone. I don't think a Ravishing Rick Rude dvd would be out of the realm of possibility either.

I hear Heenan, who is still hopitalized after all the surgeries, is in pretty bad shape. They have tons of footage of him though and I'm sure they wouldn't be at a loss finding people who want to talk about his work. I've seen his shoot interviews seem to be very repetitive, but his shoots with Cornette were great.
