some interesting news, the KOCH website lists a Kane 3 Disc DVD releasing on December 9. There was no news about this before, maybe its a Canadian exclusive since US got the Kane: Journey to Hell as an exclusive.

Also the new Edge 3 Disc DVD will be called A Decade of Decadence.

For those not following the Borders.com 80% off fiasco, I managed to eke through an order and apparently the Summerslam Anthology is in transit from Jersey City, NJ. If there's no further complications, that means I only paid $40 for the set.

For a three-disc set, I bet it's a wider release than that.

I love the title.

That's pretty cool Kane is getting a DVD set. Still pains me why they don't release a Jericho one though!

Pwinsider confirmed the release of 3-disc Kane DVD. I also wonder why the hell doesn't Chris Jericho get a DVD release.

I like Kane, but I doubt I could sit through 3 discs worth of his matches.

Transworld stores are showing presale skus for some sort of special edition of the Hell In A Cell DVDset... $69 each, one says Undertaker, one says Kane. Dunno anymore details at this time.

I doubt is going to be 3 disc of his matches. It will probably be a disc 1 to discuss Kane's career in WWE, disc 2 of matches and disc 3 is either the FYE exclusive DVD or the movie See No Evil.

Kane's effort over the years does deserve a 3 Disc set, and his character has been quite compelling so I expect the documentary to be a good watch. I wonder if the Katie Vick moment is classed as a special feature

A Chris Jericho set would be plain awesome. I'd get the UK, USA and any exclusives additions of that one!

Here's the thing. There's no doubt in my mind that it will be a worked, stay in character type deal, Most likely like the Journey into Darkness book they came out with a few years back.

They probably could do an extra DVD on his divorce from Bonnie. I believe she still owns the rights to Steamboat's name.

Good to know. I thought WWE was leasing the name from her. On a few of their releases they couldn't identify him.

Sign me up for this....

"Highspots.com is proud to announce its biggest project ever involving one of the greatest and most recognizable pro wrestling stars on the planet. Highspots has signed "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR for an amazing career retrospective video project unlike any shoot interview ever conducted before.
The Highspots.com interview with the incomparable Ric Flair will be conducted over a three week session at the Highspots offices in Charlotte, NC. What will result is a complete documented retelling of Flair's entire storied career in his own words from beginning to end. This will be far more thorough than any other shoot interview ever conducted.

From his first days in Verne Gagne's blistering cold Minnesota wrestling camp all the way to Flair's final hurrah underneath the warm Florida sky at Wrestlemania 24, virtually every event in arguably the most legendary pro wrestling career of all-time will be talked about. Without any filter from any corporate legal department, we will get the true candid thoughts from The Man himself on carrying the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for nearly a decade, the crazy road stories traveling with the Four Horsemen, legendary opponents like Rick Steamboat, backstage conflict with Jim Herd, his true thoughts on the McMahon family and everything in between. You will hear the deepest insight ever captured on film of Flair's memories from wrestling literally all over the world: the Carolinas, Puerto Rico, Japan, Mexico, Texas, WCW, WWE and all points in between. Got my 80% off reg. price Summerslam Anthology set in the mail today from Borders.com. I hate the WWE HV packaging though.

Most of the people had their orders canceled but I managed to get through. So that makes a grand total in the past two months of $90 spent on the Rumble Anthology, the Summerslam Anthology and the first two volumes of the WM Anthology. I hope I get such an awesome deal again when they come out with a Survivor Series Anthology

Well I'm watching Summerslam 2004 right now...I don't remember it being this good.

I think WWE has stopped putting out exclusives, except for the Tins at FYE. The only thing I seen is that circuit city has on its weekly add the Perfect DVD for $19.99.

I bet Wal-Mart has the Perfect dvd for under $20. I'll probably check there first.

there hasn't been any superstar DVDs with store exclusives since the Hogan Anthology which had a WWEshop/Best Buy exclusive bonus disc (Hogan Knows best episodes) and a Walmart exclusive disc (6 bonus matches).

If there was a Mr. Perfect exclusive, i think it would have been announced by now.

Just wanted to let people in Canada know, HMV is having a 2/$25 sale or $16.99 each for some WWE dvds, from what i recall the titles include:

John Cena - My Life
Bret Hart - Best there is, Best there was, Best there ever will be
Hitman - Wrestling with Shadows
Jake "the Snake" Roberts - Pick your Poison
New and Improved DX
Triumph and Tragady of World Class Championship Wrestling
Hulk Hogan Anthology
Born to Controversy - Roddy Piper Story
Undertaker - 15-0

No, I believe Steamboat got the rights back to the name in 2007, which is why he appeared at Mania 23 and why he was addressed by Ricky Steamboat at Night of Champions 2007 and on the Ric Flair tribute Raw after Mania 24.

I do know from JR's blog that they are producing a dvd set for the dragon since they can use the name now. Before, anything with Steamboat, such as Action figures or dvd's, would have had to addressed him by his legal name.
