Lord of the Rings: Collector's Gift Set?

Brand New Extended Edition Box Set - $40
Used Collector's Gift Sets - $80

The collector's gift sets include the extended edition DVDs as well as three bonus DVDs (National Geographic Special, Making of Gollum, and LotR Symphony) and three Sideshow Weta polystone statutes (Argonath, Gollum, and Minas Tirith). Are these bonuses worth the extra money?

My short answer? No. Only the FOTR Giftset is of any real value (has a National Geographic DVD and bookends). Unless you enjoy actors talking about toy figurines (the Gollum DVD on the TTT giftset) or the LOTR symphony orchestra (the ROTK giftset), they're not worth the extra money.
