This is a pic of HMV Canada's Blu-Ray exclusive, but, this should reflect Target's Deluxe DVD and Deluxe Blu-Ray exclusive.

Looks like it could be a nice, solid case.

i was expecting to get like five copies of TDK for all the exclusives, but from the looks of it, it's steelbook and that's it for me. the playing card bonus is meh, and i can deal without the mask replicas. although the target mask packaging seems like it could be cool... is the mask packaging similar to iron man where it would open up? or it is just attached to the dvd like the transformers masks are? anyone know?

so will best buy not have the collectors edition with the mask like the 300 set
i was looking on superherohype and they said there would be two sets one with
the bankrobber joker mask and one with a batman mask

Um, did you not read the page before? One page back, there's a post towards the bottom of the page, with the picture of the ad that niCK Crush posted. Both sets are listed.

I got a hold of this month's Blockbuster Canad flyer and it appears they will have the Circuit City Journal. He's a pic from the flyer that might give a better look at the cover of the journal.. But yikes, $32.99 CDN..

At least Bestbuy Canada seems to be on pair with the clown head exclusive, but wondering if we'll get the bat cowl..

I doubt it. Although it doesn't seem that would be much later than regular holiday hours, would it?

Once again, WB trots out a subpar transfer for their top tier movies.

"As seems to be the case with many Warner Bros. DVDs these days, compression artifacts were the main distraction. Knight often took on a blocky look that affected definition. Shimmering and jagged edges cropped up throughout the film; many shots displayed a ropy look, and I also saw mild edge enhancement. All of these factors often gave the image an unnatural roughness." He goes on to give the PQ a C overall.

VVVV Yeah, for the DVD. I'm sure the Blu-Ray will look pristine.

^ for the SD-dvd, anyways. Seems like another case of the Harry Potters, where the dvd was significantly downgraded so the HD would look better by comparison.

Blah. I was going to break my "No DVDs until I upgrade" rule, but with the news out about this one I might wait on it as well. It's alright, though, b/c I was probably going to be a sucker for the over-priced two-disc set.

Well according to the HTF review its not compression artifacts since it has a relatively high bit rate but I have heard some saying its the encoding that is causing it. I think its pretty bad especially this "By way of example, shortly after the 16 minute mark, there is a scene between Eckhart and Oldman that is absolutely pulsing with noise in the background. When Oldman enters the office where the scene takes place, digital video noise erupts around the books on shelves and horizontal blinds in the background. This is not just flickering/aliasing, but a pulsing, spreading fuzzy set of digital artifacts." and the other interesting thing is the fact that the digital copy of the film that is included on the 2-disc does not have the troublesome artifacts like the DVD but this could be the fact it was taken from the same source as the Blu-ray since both change aspect ratios during the IMAX sequences. So if your are buying the Blu-ray there is nothing to worry about but if you are planning on buying it on DVD I would be worried enough to just rent it but thats just me.

does anyone know if the Circuit City alt cover is a slip cover and if so what the cover art on the actual keep case will be? I'm not a fan of slip covers (I always toss them) so I'm hoping this is the art underneath as well. Thanks.
