The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian EE?

Has anyone heard if Disney is going to release an EXTENDED EDITION of The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian a few monthes after they release a single or 2-disc set?

If they do it like the last one, I hope they don't bother

Their excuse for an "extended edition" for the first movie was a total joke. Was essentially 8 minutes of extra scenery.

What ever it has a great set of extra that you can not get on the 2-disc set.

Maybe, but it wasn't marketed as a special edition it was marketed as an EXTENDED Edition. I have to agree with Labor, as an EXTENDED edition, it failed miserably. Despite not being markedly better, I hope Blu fans don't get the shaft like with LW&TW.

Besides any sort of new edition won't make this movie any good.

not a fan of the franchise, but I am curious if they're going to keep the franchise going or if they're finished because Prince Caspian wasn't as big of a blockbuster as they hoped?

They still have one more (The Silver Chair).

Try again. Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is one of, if not, the best book in the series. I think if they move the releases back to Christmas, they stand a chance of succeeding and making the entire series.

I was pissed when that EE came out. I bought the 2-disc wanting all the narnia I could get, just to see the 4-disc coming out a few months later. That movie had 3 different versions out within a year of being released (1,2, and 4 disc)

I thought the movie was stronger than the book, but I know what you mean...as a movie it needed to stand alone from the book. Somebody shouldn't have to read the book to appreciate it. But I really thought the book was the weakest of the Narnia books and I was not really looking forward to seeing this movie. I was actually surprised how much more entertaining it managed to be over the book.

I can't imagine an extended cut of this...it seems they really made it what it could be for the source material they had.

I just hope this movie doesn't kill the franchise because better books, and potentially better movies, are still out there.

Is were is the Silver Chair in the series?

I ask as I have not read any of the Books (I just read Bio's,True-Crime,History).

Yes, The Silver Chair is number 4 in the series. Hopefully they will do those and The Horse and His Boy, The Last Battle, and The Magician's Nephew. I really want to see the last one about the professor when he was young.

There are 7 books in the Chronicles of Narnia:

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Horse and His Boy
The Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle.

Per Narniaweb.com, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is due to begin filming in Jan. 2009. There's also an entry in IMDB.com for this movie.
