Re: the Batman movies from 1989-1997

Thedigitalbits is now posting that WB has pushed the releases back, but they are still expected to come out in the first quarter:

Okay... we've got a quick update on Warner's Blu-ray Disc release of the Batman catalog films for you today. As you may know, Batman, Batman Begins, Batman & Robin and Batman Forever are now already announced or available in Japan, Australia and parts of Europe on Blu-ray, and are indeed coming soon here in the States as well. However, our best industry sources have informed us that they may not be released in February as we first reported last week. The studio had recently listed the DVD versions of these films for re-release on 2/10, and we expected to see the Blu-rays street at the same time, but we're told now that the 2/10 date wasn't official and the release is going to pushed back an as yet indeterminate amount of time. Rest assured, the Blu-rays ARE coming, very likely in the first 1st quarter of this year... just don't necessarily expect them in February. So adjust your plans accordingly.

Re: the Batman movies from 1989-1997

Can somebody who owns these tell me if the two disc sets of Batman and Batman Returns came with slipcovers?

Also, did they have a booklet or chapter insert?

Thanks.

Really? They went back and did a nice release and there's not even a CI?

Strange.

Anyway, thanks, TM.

Re: the Batman movies from 1989-1997

Batman through Batman and Robin and available again on Amazon, with the Blu-Ray scheduled for March 10. Are these just straight re-releases or are there changes from the previous releases? And does anybody know if the box set will be re-released or just the single two-disc sets?
I expected there to be more news when these became available again, but it seems they just slipped out.
Thank you.

I wouldn't mind have Burton's two films. But the others are just horrible. They are released on Blu Ray in march but I don't know if there going to release them again on DVD.
