Is this Cruise's first commentary track? Seems a rather unlikely choice.

I don't know about unlikely - it was the film that made him a star.

He also did commentary on MI3 with J.J. Abrams

say what you will about Cruise, but this movie is a classic and I'd love to buy it

Finally. Now I'll retire the previous version. With this and Wargames, two of my big SE wants are fulfilled.

Great news for me. I love this movie and have wanted a better copy of it for some time now.

It's great that they've included a commentary and the original ending.

Definite buy.


What the heck is an o-sleeve?

O-sleeve=slipcover here on earth.

Isn't an o-sleeve a cardboard band that goes around the DVD case like a belt? (Sort of like some companies use to package a multi-case DVD set that doesn't have a slipcase, like those Austin Powers 3-packs.)

Nah. The first time I saw the term it was referring to Snakes on a Plane, which just had a regular slipcover.

are there two versions of this? some online stores are listing it as full frame while others are listing it as widescreen..i dont wnat to get stuck with full screen ( you think that full screen crap would have went away by now)

My copy and all others i've seen in stores have been Widescreen only.

This. I've yet to see a fullscreen copy.
