I don't recall how long the first unrated cut was, but it seems like it was longer than 68 minutes. Depending on how different "The Lost Version" is, I may give it a rent...

From what I've read, the "Lost Version" is an alternate "movie" made with unused footage. It's like the equivalent of "Wake Up, Ron Burgandy" to Anchorman.

The movie itself will be the same Unrated cut from the last DVD.

Is this release missing anything from the original?

I passes on the first release because I expected a another release. It sucks that it will be priced high because of the digital copy but I may have to get this.

The SRP is only $19.98. A couple months after its release, this thing will be under $10...

Just dropping a note, as I just got my copy to review, and as far as I can tell, this is the first ever major studio single-film DVD release to hit stores in a ThinPak case. There's two discs in a clear ThinPak with a equally thin slipcover.

Trend of the future?

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters did this, too, but had the decency to release it on the initial release. It was pretty pricey, though.
