Re: Post pics of your DVD collection and HT, Part 12
Something i keep noticing is that very few people have Movie posters for Foreign or Independent Films. I keep seeing Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Dark Knight, Friday the 13th. I want to see a a "Pan's Labyrinth" or "Summer, Fall, Winter ... and Spring" poster!!!
Nah I'm just messing I love seeing these collections there are some amazing selections here. Its nice to know I'm not alone in my DVD collecting obsession. |

The low shelf looks odd in the middle of the room; maybe because it's not black yet. I would have put 2 billy's back to back. Why the need for more shelf space? It looks like you still have a lot of empty shelves.

Nice collection dkedvd!
I do agree with everyone else though, the shelf in the middle of the room makes it looks like the old video stores I used to frequent as a kid :) |

Agreed, you should get some old early 90s straight to video posters and put them up!
Is it sad that I think it is awesome that people think my "library" (as I call it) looks like a rental store? |
Re: Post pics of your DVD collection and HT, Part 12
Well, it's better than what people would call my "library". They would call it a warehouse....
Especially since I don't have enough shelf space so one of my closets is just filled with DVDs.... |

Especially since I don't have enough shelf space so one of my closets is just filled with DVDs.... I dread the day I run out of space. Within a few years it will happen. Just this year alone I filled two of those tall shelves. But who knows... Maybe by the time I get to that point we will be screaming and the collecting of cinematic media will be dead. Hmm... I rather run out of space then have that happen. |

Holy shit! 3000 movies isn't enough, you continue to buy! I'm more selective in what I buy, even if it is only $3 (or less sometimes), I won't get it unless I liked it at least once in the past.

I do not buy just to buy. I only buy titles I know I like or that I'm 90% sure that I'm going to like. And if I buy something that I end up not liking it ends up at the pawn shop. So my entire collection is all titles that I like. :)
Word of advice, don't try drugs. You'll love them all. |
